Stay Weird Neon Sign

Every café has its own personality, and your signage should reflect it.

Some businesses choose a striking logo sign behind the coffee machine to reinforce their branding. Others create an Instagram-worthy feature wall that encourages customers to take photos, while many display welcoming messages in windows or seating areas to create a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Before choosing your sign, think about where customers spend the most time, what they see when they first walk through the door and which spaces appear most often in customer photos.

The best café signs don't just look good—they become part of the customer experience.

The colour of your neon sign has a huge impact on the atmosphere inside your café.

Warm White remains one of the most popular choices for coffee shops thanks to its cosy, welcoming glow. Snow White creates a cleaner, modern look that's ideal for minimalist interiors, while coloured signs can reinforce your branding or create a vibrant feature wall.

Your font is just as important. Elegant handwritten scripts create an artisan feel, while bold sans-serif lettering works well for modern cafés and takeaway brands.

Our online customiser lets you preview different colours, fonts and sizes instantly before ordering, making it easy to find the perfect combination for your brand.

The right size depends entirely on where your sign will be displayed.

Smaller signs are ideal for coffee bars, shelves and window displays, while larger feature signs become the centrepiece of your seating area or branding wall.

If you're creating a social media backdrop, don't be afraid to go bigger. A larger sign creates much more visual impact in customer photos and helps define your café's identity.

If you're unsure, our team can recommend the ideal size based on your wall dimensions and photographs of your café.

One of the biggest advantages of LED neon is how flexible it is.

Some cafés use a bright logo sign behind the coffee machine, while others create feature walls where customers naturally take photographs. Window signs help attract passing foot traffic, while smaller signs can highlight cake displays, collection points or takeaway counters.

Before choosing your location, think about visibility during both day and evening, available power and how customers naturally move through your café.

Our optional battery pack also makes it possible to position compatible signs where mains power isn't available, giving you greater freedom when designing your interior.

The best café signage does much more than display your business name.

A well-positioned neon sign becomes part of your branding, your customer experience and your marketing.

Customers naturally photograph beautiful interiors. Every shared Instagram story, TikTok video or Google review featuring your café helps introduce your business to new customers without any additional advertising.

Combined with great coffee and thoughtful interior design, a custom neon sign becomes an investment that keeps working long after it's been installed.
