Scissors Barber Shop Neon Sign

A good barbershop is more than somewhere to get a haircut. The best shops have an identity customers recognise as soon as they walk through the door.

A custom LED neon sign can turn your shop name, logo or artwork into one of the most distinctive features in the room.

Place your branding behind the cutting stations, above reception or on a main feature wall and it becomes part of the atmosphere of the shop — appearing in mirrors, photographs, videos and social content long after it has been installed.

The right neon colour depends on the character of your barbershop.

Warm White works particularly well with timber, exposed brick and traditional interiors, while Snow White gives modern black, grey and concrete shops a cleaner contemporary look.

Red or Blue can create something much bolder and naturally reference traditional barber colours, while Green, Orange and other colours can work brilliantly when they're already part of your branding.

For logos containing several colours, a multi-colour design can reproduce more of your existing identity.

The right size depends on where customers need to see it from.

A 60cm sign is ideal for a reception counter, shelf or individual workstation. Around 80–100cm works well above a waiting area or between cutting stations.

For the main shop branding, 120–160cm creates considerably more presence behind reception or across a feature wall.

And if the sign needs to attract customers through a large shop window, going larger can make the difference between being noticed from across the street and disappearing amongst everything else around it.

The cutting station is where customers spend most of their visit — and where a huge amount of barber content is created.

A neon sign positioned between mirrors, above the stations or reflected behind the customer can turn an otherwise functional area into part of your brand.

It creates a stronger backdrop for before-and-after photographs, haircut videos and social content while giving the shop a more considered, finished appearance.

For multi-chair shops, one large central sign often works better than filling every available wall with smaller designs.

Your shopfront has one job before anything else: make people notice you.

A custom neon sign in the window can keep your barbershop visible beyond normal daylight hours and give passers-by an immediate indication of the business inside.

Use your shop name for maximum brand recognition, a barber graphic for something instantly understandable, or a simple BARBERS sign when visibility matters more than detail.

A strong window sign can work particularly well for barbers located amongst busy rows of independent shops where every storefront is competing for attention.
