But First, Bubbles... Neon Sign

Every wedding is unique, and the right neon sign depends on how you want to use it throughout your day. Some couples choose a personalised surname sign as the centrepiece behind the top table, while others prefer a romantic quote that creates a stunning ceremony backdrop. Welcome signs are ideal for greeting guests as they arrive, while bar signs, photo booth signs and dance floor displays help create memorable moments throughout the evening.

Before choosing your design, think about where it will be displayed and how close guests will be to it. Larger statement signs work beautifully behind sweetheart tables and flower walls, while smaller signs are perfect for entrance displays, dessert tables and cocktail bars.

One of the biggest advantages of a personalised wedding neon sign is that it doesn't have to end with your wedding day. Many couples choose wording that will look just as good in their home afterwards, making it a keepsake rather than a decoration that's used only once.

The colour and font you choose can completely change the feel of your wedding sign. Warm White remains our most popular option thanks to its timeless look and the way it photographs beautifully in almost every venue. Snow White creates a clean, modern aesthetic, while Pastel Pink adds warmth to romantic settings. Glacier Blue and coloured options are ideal for contemporary celebrations or themed weddings.

Your font is just as important. Flowing script fonts create an elegant, classic look that's perfect for surnames and romantic quotes, while clean modern lettering suits minimalist weddings and contemporary venues.

If you're unsure which style will work best, our online customiser lets you preview different fonts and colours instantly before ordering, making it easy to compare options until you find the perfect combination.

Choosing the right size is one of the most important decisions you'll make. A sign that's too small can disappear against a large flower wall, while an oversized sign may overwhelm a more intimate venue.

As a general guide, smaller signs are ideal for welcome displays, bars and dessert tables, while medium and larger signs create impressive focal points behind ceremony backdrops, top tables and dance floors.

When designing your sign, consider how far away guests will be standing and what will appear in your wedding photographs. A slightly larger sign often creates a much stronger visual impact, especially in larger venues.

If you're unsure, our team is always happy to recommend a suitable size based on your venue and where you plan to display your sign.

One of the biggest advantages of a personalised neon sign is its versatility. Many couples move the same sign throughout the day to create different focal points without needing multiple decorations.

For example, your sign could welcome guests at the entrance during the ceremony, move behind the top table for your wedding breakfast, then become the backdrop for your dance floor or photo booth during the evening reception.

If you're planning to move your sign between locations, it's worth thinking about access to power before the big day. Some venues have convenient sockets behind feature walls, while others may require extension leads or alternative power solutions.

To make placement even easier, Neon Filter also offers an optional portable battery pack accessory, allowing compatible signs to be displayed in locations where mains power isn't available. This gives you much greater flexibility when styling your venue, particularly for outdoor ceremonies, flower walls or temporary installations.

Unlike flowers, table decorations and other wedding décor, your personalised LED neon sign becomes a lasting reminder of your celebration.

Many couples install their sign in a bedroom, living room, home bar or hallway after the wedding, giving it a second life long after the celebrations have ended.

Choosing wording that has meaning beyond your wedding day is a great way to ensure your sign remains a feature in your home for years to come. Whether it's your surname, initials or a favourite phrase, your wedding sign can become a unique piece of personalised wall art as well as one of the highlights of your wedding.
